Edna Moisture Cream/Night Creams

Edna Ocean Mint Mask contains rich seaweed
Seaweed is becoming increasingly popular for its hydrating and nourishing
properties. Certain seaweeds contain a full antioxidant chain of vitamin E,
C, and Beta Carotene, as well as minerals and trace elements. Research
indicates that seaweed may be highly effective in synthesizing collagen.

acutely sensitive to the sun. Edna Royal Elixir helps prepare the skin for

Edna Fran-J-Pani
This product is a rare tropical oil made from the fran-j-pani flower.
Polynesians, who were known for their beautiful skin, used this special oil
to keep their skin soft and healthy. Many customers use it as a weekly
facial treatment. The fran-j-pani oil is also known for its intense healing
properties. Marvelous for burns, bug bites, scrapes and cuts, the oil was
referred to as "pink magic" by people on the islands.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is considered an antioxidant superstar, and is effective against
aging. This is why you'll find 10,000 units of vitamin E in every ounce of
Edna Vitamin E Oil. Not only does it protect skin from sun damage, but can
also treat pre-existing damage from the sun. It can also be used to nourish
and soften your cuticles, and eliminate age spots. Edna Vitamin E Oil can
also be used as a hot oil treatment to relieve dry hair, making it more
manageable. This amazing vitamin is also found in the Vitone Body
Moisturizer.
Petrolatum
Topical application of petrolatum has been proven to help the outer layer of
skin recover from damage, reduce inflammation, and generally heal the skin.
Edna Skin Care uses only the highest quality petrolatum, which contains no
irritating contaminants. Petrolatum is a major ingredient in the Eye Cream
and the Cleansing Cream.
Lanolin
Lanolin has long been known as an effective emollient and skin moisturizer.
Edna uses only Triple-Refined Lanolin, which is contaminant free, and is
more easily absorbed into the skin. It protects the natural oils in the
skin, helping the skin stay hydrated throughout the day, and promotes
healing. The oil comes from sheep's wool and is extracted after shearing.
This is why the sheep shearers were known for their soft hands.
Beeswax
Beeswax is known for its healing properties. Edna is proud to use the finest
quality beeswax rather than the more commonly used and lesser quality
paraffin products.
Essential Oils
Essential oils can stimulate circulation, which helps to improve skin tone.
Many essential oils have antibacterial properties, which help fight adult
and teenage acne, and fungal infections. Some oils can help with healing and
can reduce scarring, as well as benefiting dry, flaky, and aging skin. Even
the fragrance from essential oils can sooth your spirits and provide a
cheerful, calming effect. At Edna, these oils assist with the preservation
of our skin care products.
The essential oils used by Edna Skin Care include lemon, mint, jasmine, lavender, lilac, and rose. Lemon is high in vitamins A, B and C, and is an astringent. Jasmine is a gentle anti-inflammatory and can sooth irritated and inflamed skin; all skin types can benefit from using Jasmine. Lavender is an antiseptic and disinfectant, and helps heal eczema, acne, and psoriasis. Rose has anti-inflammatory properties and is a soothing treatment for dry and itchy skin. It can also tone a tired complexion.
We use the finest quality essential oils for the greatest possible benefit to our customers. We do not use perfumes, extracts or chemical imitations.
Herbs
Herbs are the oldest natural form of medicine. We steep our skin freshener
in 55 herbs for a week to infuse the healing properties into the liquid. The
herbs we use are anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, and are very healing
for the skin.
